Caring For Jeans

Because jeans are so durable, you can machine wash them in warm water. Always keep light and dark jeans separate, and turn all jeans inside out to maintain the color. Also, in order to keep dark jeans from fading, use a cup of white vinegar in the wash along with your regular detergent. If you choose to wash at colder temperatures, you'll want to use a liquid detergent as powders don't dissolve as well. It's okay to use a fabric softener if desired. Finally, tumble-drying jeans will keep the material soft.
